Umi Children’s Shoes and Giveaway

After your baby takes her or her first steps you may start thinking about buying baby shoes! A lot of “baby shoes” (shoes worn before children can walk) are for style and to complete an outfit. Now that Izzy is walking we strive to find stylish and functional shoes. She loves to explore and play in the mulch at the park. We have a few pairs of baby shoes that look adorable, but may not be ideal for dirt and mulch. Enter Umi Children’s Shoes. A few things that initially drew me to Umi shoes:

  • The shoes breathe easy and are made of natural materials.
  • The bottoms have a rubber flexible sole.
  • The shoes include toe boxes which means no cramped toes and room to grow!

I was excited to review a pair of Umi’s shoes with our daughter Izzy. There were so many styles to choose from and most fit the essentials I look for in shoes (flexibility, breathability, rubber sole for traction, and style). If you decide to look into Umi shoes please be aware of their sizing. I printed out the size chart, but unfortunately I didn’t double check that it was to scale. Not to self: Read the directions thoroughly before quickly ordering a pair! Besides my mix-up with the sizing (which was corrected) we love the cute and practical shoes for Izzy. They are perfect for a day at the park.
