Take the limits off

For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.  Isaiah 55:8-9

I love this scripture!  It reminds me how magnificent and great my God is.  Sometimes when I am going through a trial I think about how I am going to get out of it.  In the past I was discouraged because I could not imagine how God was going to work it out.  But God reminds us in Isaiah that we aren’t supposed to always figure it out!  His ways and thoughts are higher than ours.  This is where faith comes in.  We need to trust that God is truly in control of ALL things and remind ourselves that he is the creator of ALL things.  We must hold on to His promises 🙂
