7 Powerful Scriptures to Speak Over Your Children

Before you had kids, did you ever see a child melting down in public and think “my child will never do that!” BE HONEST. I know I did.

But then I quickly realized as a parent I don’t have as much control as I thought I would.

Unfortunately, we can’t control every decision our children make. If only we could prevent every public tantrum, I’m pretty sure we would!

But that shouldn’t discourage us. Even when our kids seem to be pushing all our buttons and we have no idea what to do to help our child, there is something we can do to change the situation.

PRAY!

Whether it’s potty training, sleep training or dealing with a teenager I’m certain there will be times when we as parents don’t have all the answers. Don’t fall into the trap of thinking “why is this happening?!”

Instead of always trying to figure out “why” what if we went to God in prayer instead?

One of the greatest tools we have as parents is committing our children and our parenting to the Lord. His ways are higher than ours and we can’t even imagine all the wonderful things he has in store for our kids!

We must trust, believe and declare His promises over our children.

Pray bold prayers! Here are 7 powerful scriptures to speak over your children every day of the week. Pray these prayers for protection and blessings over your kids. Included is a free printable with scriptures to hang on your fridge.

He will guide us. He will direct our paths and show us what we need to do.

Will we always make the right choice? Probably not. But I believe there is power in prayer. That’s why I created this powerful week of prayer for you.

I’ve written out 7 powerful scriptures to speak over your children every day of the week.

One for each day.
