8 Month Update

April was a busy month for our family and you got your first tooth! Right before you turned 8 months old, your bottom tooth broke through the skin. Teething seems to bother you and after your tooth came through you were so much happier. You LOVE to eat, just like your sister. You really want to feed yourself, but it is a little tricky since you have been toothless for so long. We are slowly starting more and more solid foods and you seem to really enjoy it.

You are also mastering the army crawl and starting to pull up on things to kneeling position. IJ you love trying to keep up with your sister and you are becoming more vocal when she tells you to move back. You are very interested in what is happening around you and you don’t want to miss a thing. Although you certainly have your moments you are one of the smiliest babies I know. You love being held by your mama, but you will smile at almost anyone. We love hearing you laugh and giggle. I don’t know what it is, but every time we walk down the steps with Izzy you think it’s so funny. 

One of you favorite pastimes is chewing on anything you can get your little hands on. The first thing you do is put whatever you find in your mouth. You also go after any cord or remote you can spot. Maybe you’ll love technology? You still like to wake up on the earlier side and it’s the same time every morning regardless of when you go to sleep at night. When you were teething your naps were short, but I think your mobility tires you out some days. You seem to enjoy being outside and when the sun we go for walks. You like sitting next to your sister in the stroller and hearing her sing and shout! We can’t wait to see what’s in store for next month.
